Boost pedals can do more than just raise your signal's volume and this one is a terrific example of what can happen with the right boost. This pedal can change the way your guitar ( or other instrument ) and amp reacts to one another. Aside from basic preamp-ing functions, this boost can add layers of tone and smoothed out gain to your signal. This can do a lot of different things for your sound. You can achieve a better overall tone from the beginning of your signal, change tones / volumes for different parts of different songs and experiment with using this pedal to get other pedals and effects you use to finally "sing" the way you've always wanted them to. Those are just a few ideas. This is an easy to use and highly touch sensitive unit in a familiar stompbox format. Give your EQ a boost.

Volume - controls overall volume
Low - controls the low frequencies 40Hz-250Hz
Tone - 3 way selector. Selects between 3 main frequencies of the HIGH controller. Allows user to use virtually any instrument with any frequency range and achieve ultimate tone control.
High - controls high frequencies. Directly relates to the 3 position master TONE controller. Main frequencies are 4KHz, 2KHz, and 950Hz
Gain - Sets the desired gain level. The EQ Booster's dynamic gain circuitry enables you to achieve crispy clean to dirty overdrive / distortion just by changing the way you play.
