The Lowden S50J Jazz series is considered the ultimate in-between Nylon guitar for Flattop and electric players. This unique Lowden 50's series Jazz Nylon maybe considered the pinnacle of European Guitar craftsmanship. Out of the factory the guitar is equipped with Fishman Matrix infinity. The S model is cosmetically one of the finest and most comfortable guitars to play, in it's nylon/jazz version, unbeatable and unique due to the combination of high end woods, superior craftsmanship and the unique crossover concept that makes it accessible for Flattop, electric and Nylon educated guitar players. The Guitar is most easy to handle and allows access to the upper frets due to its cutaway. Excellent balance, superior tone-separation, impressive clearness and dynamics are guaranteed.
This guitar features stunning Rosewood back and sides paired to a Cedar top, a 3-piece Mahogany/Rosewood neck with Ebony/Maple bound Ebony fretboard, highly figured Mahogany binding, Rosewood/Maple/Mahogany purfling, Schaller-Hauser pattern tuners and a Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup, and of course the custom 50 style rosette. Width at Nut: 48mm (1 7/8"), Scale 650mm (25.6"), String-spacing 56mm. Comes with Lowden deluxe case.
This Lowden is in near mint condition with the exception of 'Angelhair' wear and some pickguard wear, one small angelhair scratch under the pickguard. Sells new at 7000 Euro
