Donn Bennett

Donn has been teaching in the area for over 30 years, and been buying and selling drums for over 20. Donn started the shop out of his house buying, selling and trading drums for his own personal collection. Donn found he had a knack for finding rare and unusual drums and his collection became so large he opened up a shop where he could teach drum lessons and sell drums. Over the years Donn has become well known not just in the area but in the world and with some of the most famous of drummers.

James Busch

Jim is a local boy and a graduate of Washington State University and has been playing locally for over 25 years. Jim has a vast expertise in the realm of drum repair, and a collection that is bigger than yours. He is our go to guy when it comes to restoring vintage drum sets.

Zach Hornbeck

Zach eagerly joined the team here at the shop as soon as the opportunity arose with a burning passion for drums and an extensive background in retail. Being a Seattle Native, he is very familiar with the local scene, and can out-talk anybody on anything related to drums. All in all, a wonderful addition to the team here, and a great resource of knowledge about the drums.

Aaron Ameen

Aaron has been studying drums and percussion for over twelve years all over the country. Having moved recently from Knoxville, TN where he attended the University of Tennessee as a Music Education/Jazz Studies Major while working part time at Fork's Drum Closet, he was quick to take advantage of the opportunity to join the team here at the shop. Since moving to Seattle, he has completed the Full Year Drumset Performance Certificate program at the Seattle Drum School, and is currently studying Music Technology & Merchandising at Shoreline Community College.

He can be found playing at many clubs around town with his Jazz Trio, and is also part of the Alternative Rock outfits James Lanman & The Good Hurt and Jack Manly.

Tony "T" Lewis

Midwest Drum Guru, Midwest DBDS Representative

Although Tony has never actually been to the shop, he continues to enlighten us with his extensive knowledge of vintage drums and his unyielding hipitude. He has helped us track down some of the most incredible vintage drums and cymbals all over the world, and has done many favors for us here at the shop. Tony can be seen drumming for his own original band called “Tony Lewis and Lawnmowers”. They are the only band around dedicated to writing songs about a grinding weekend of yard work.
