This guy is definitely connected! The Wise Guy is a new take on the popular 2-in-1 overdrive pedal. Although based on the classic JRC4558D op-amp, this ain't your grandfathers ol' dirt box, the circuit is a brand new design! The Wise Guy was designed to achieve an overdrive with the same sweet touch responsiveness you would expect to find in a good vintage amplifier when played real loud. This pedal delivers unrivalled sustain and cleans up nicely when you back off on your guitars volume knob. Unlike most other overdrives and distortions, “boutique” or budget brands, the Wise Guy achieves its incredible warm tube-like overdrive without the common use of clipping diodes, but purely from cascading gain stages much like in a real tube amp, and is therefore classified as a True Overdrive. The Wise Guy is an excellent sound shaping tool for all genres of music, and the sparkle and tube-like clarity of the +15 dB independent boost will help drive your tube amp into overdrive or to be heard above the mix of the band when soloing in live situations.
The Wice Guy is a 2-in-1 overdrive with an independent boost positioned after the drive side of the pedal. This allows for an increase in volume when soloing either with clean or overdriven sound. At the heart of The Wice Guy is the gain knob which works in conjunction with the OD-switch, which lets you choose between to different gain characters, while you control the amount of gain via the Gain-knob . The Od1 setting offers a softer low gain in the crunchy domain, while the Od2 delivers more sustain. The high frequencies of the overdrive signal can be controlled by the Tone knob, which is moved down a bit and made slightly smaller because, let’s face it, most guitarist usually set it and leave it. True bypass switching makes sure that your tone stays intact when the Wise Guy is turned off, and careful assembly by hand will ensure you many years of faithful service from this pedal.

LunaStone guitar effects are developed by Secret Lab which is a company owned by guitarist and engineer Steen Grøntved. The effects began their development in Copenhagen Denmark in 2011 by two guitar playing friends with more that 20 years of live and recording experience each. The aim was to provide rock solid guitar effects having 'that little extra', making them able to compete with the best guitar effects on the market today. LunaStone effects are for the time being hand-soldered and assembled. All electronic designs are original, made from scratch and designed in house. The first three products in the product line are designed with guitarist Morten Lunau as an inspirational and creative collaborator.
Design philosophy
LunaStone guitar effects are handmade to a degree that makes sense to us. For the time being all soldering and assembly is done by hand. The PCB's are designed in house and later manufactured in a specialized PCB factory in order for them to live up to all common industrial quality standards. We utilize true bypass switching and analog circuitry exclusively.
About orders and delivery
Right now we are trying to optimize our production methods, but as a special offer it is possible to get an exclusive copy soldered and assembled by hand in Copenhagen, Denmark. Because of this time consuming process you can expect some lead-time, as we simply can not keep a stock big enough to ship all orders right away. If you are interested in one of our products, please send us an e-mail and we will inform you about the estimated production and delivery time.

All payments go through PayPal. In our opinion it is a very secure way of handling transactions and we avoid handling any sensitive customer information. You don't even have to have a PayPal account, you can pay with your credit card too via the PayPal site. The manufacturer of LunaStone effects offers a one (1) year warranty to the original owner with proof of purchase. The manufacturer of LunaStone effects warrants the manufacturing, material and proper operation of our products for a period of one year from the date of purchase. The manufacturer of LunaStone effects will replace defective parts, make necessary repairs or replace the unit at the discretion of our technicians. The warranty applies only to the original owner and purchaser of a LunaStone product, and excludes any damage or faulty operations due to neglect, misuse, modifications or unauthorized service/repair.
