Lately, I've been listening to a whole bunch of Country music (much to the chagrin of my vertically challenged business partner). From Luke Bryant to Jason Aldean, I've been listening and learning about pickup trucks, bonfires and Country queens with big blue eyes. but as you know, the acoustic guitar is essential in this particular genre- simply put, the acoustic is king. Of course, when Ray isn't looking I'll do my best rendition of these "soon to be classic songs" (hell, he doesn't know or he thinks it's a slower version of "More Than a Feeling" by Boston). Friends, this 000-42 has all of that Country twang in spades and I'd have to say it's a finger pickers delight to boot. This instrument oozes only acoustic goodness and if this will tell you anything, I took it home for an extended stay and as soon as Ray found it missing, he demanded it back. That is a WTF moment if there ever was one: a bass player telling me what to do with a guitar (they obviously have control issues). The Rosewood is stunning, the inlay work is spectacular and the playability is OMG. What are you waiting for? Country super stardom awaits...
