2004 Martin D-18VS: The original Martin dreadnought with the vintage features players hold so dear. The solid Sitka Spruce top and genuine Mahogany back & sides bound in 'tortoise'. Scalloped braces underneath, and a vintage styled V-shaped neck that meets the body at 12th fret. Both fretboard and bridge are Ebony with long saddle. 1 3/4" nut width, slotted peghead, and Waverly vintage styled gears. Fans of the VS series Martins know that this is the body that is extended in length over the standard dreadnought and therefore produces warmer, richer sound. Most excellent!
