Nothing says you've "arrived" like holding this exquisite beauty in your arms and ringing out what will undoubtedly be one of the biggest sounding chords of your life. This guitar has a clarity and fullness that is absolutely exceptional. No matter what position you play, an abundance of piano-like rich bass and a crystalline top end spew forth with an attack that is extremely pleasing. The lush mid range jangles like a bell and will sit in the mix perfectly on any recording. This is obviously a fine looking guitar however the feel and tone are really the biggest selling points. This is a masterwork. Item Details This 2009 Martin Custom Tree of Life dreadnought features a solid spruce top with white / abalone binding and rosette. The mahogany neck features an ebony fretboard with Martin's magnificent abalone Tree of Life inlay design. The rosewood back and sides are very high quality. The ebony bridge also features some ornate abalone inlay work. Other stand out features include gold hardware, abalone headstock inlay, a tortosie shell pickguard and a Martin hard shell case. Overall Condition This 2009 Martin Custom D-45 Tree of Life is in near mint condition. There are a low number of faint pick scratches on the pick guard - no more than a handful and they are barely visible. There are a low number of extremely faint finish scratches on the back. This guitar shows almost no signs of ever being played. It has in all likelihood seen less than a few hours of playing time. It is near mint. This is a stunning playing and sounding guitar that obviously stands out in a crowd. It would crown many a guitar collection and serve as a first rate dreadnought for any occasion.
