Each of these unique chairs are individually hand crafted by Rick Metz. Each is signed and numbered. Any shape and color is possible. If you have a favorite guitar, he can make a chair to match it. Rick is always taking custom orders so please feel free to contact him.
Each chair is made out of six layers of Baltic Birch. It is molded using the same gluing technique of a Steinway piano. The contour of the chair cradles the body similar to a sports car seat. The chair is supported by a five leg steel base the swivels and rocks. It is finished with multiple coats of pre-catalyzed lacquer that is extremely durable. Chairs come in any color combination not limited to ones shown. This chair adds a wow factor to any decor. Due to the time and effort that goes into each piece the turn around time is approximately thirty days depending on workload once payment is received. Here are some examples of past guitar chairs. Payment:
First call, email, or fax to confirm that the instrument is still available. We conduct all transactions through Bank Transfer of U.S. funds, cashier's checks, or Visa/MC payment.
Shipping:
We ship domestically and internationally via FedEx and UPS. The customer is responsible for all shipping, insuring and any associated bank charges, including any returned merchandise.
Returns:
Upon receipt, the customer has 3 days to review the instrument. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, notify us within 72 hours of receipt and we will refund the cost of the merchandise as soon as it is returned to us in the same condition as when shipped.
