Diese ´88 PRS Custom 24 hat wohl alle Features, die man sich für solch eine Gitarre nur wünschen kann. Ein grandioses 10 Top, Bird-Inlays und das Ganze in der PRS-Farbe schlechthin: Vintage Yellow. Wer jemals eine dieser frühen PRS in der Hand hatte, weiß warum diese Gitarren so begehrt sind. Der Hals liegt perfekt in der Hand und dank hauchdünner Lackierung, ausgesuchten Hölzern und einer perfekten Verarbeitung fühlt man sich hier sofort zu Hause.
Der Zustand ist für diese fast 25 Jahre alte Gitarre wirklich hervorragend. Bis auf einige kleine Dings und Dongs sind kaum Gebrauchsspuren zu finden. Auch die Bünde befinden sich in bemerkenswert gutem Zustand.
Bis auf die Schaltung und Pickups befindet sich die PRS in Originalzustand. Die Schaltung mit ihrem unpraktischen 5-fach Wahlschalter und dem Sweet-Switch wurde gegen eine McCarty-Schaltung getauscht, die mit Push-Pull-Tonepoti insgesamt 6 Sounds zur Verfügung stellt. Dabei wurden selbstverständlich nur originale PRS-Parts verwendet. Derzeit sind PRS Dragon II-Pickups verbaut, die originalen "unstamped T&B´s" sind jedoch noch vorhanden und werden mitgeliefert. Leider sind 5-fach-Schalter und Sweet-Switch nicht mehr aufzufinden.
Im Lieferumfang ist das originale PRS-Case samt Schlüsseln, sämtliche Unterlagen, der Vibratohebel, das Einstellwerkzeug und die originalen Pickups enthalten.
