Seit der Veröffentlichung der ersten Real McCoy RMC1 Wah's im Jahre 1998 gelten sie als die besten Wah-Pedale überhaupt.
Aber was macht sie so einzigartig?
Nun, erstens werden die Pedale von Geoffrey Teese handgefertigt und sind deutlich besser und musikalischer als die gängigen Fliessbandprodukte.
Der Regelweg ist extrem weit (180 Grad) und regelmässig ohne den typischen Sprung von den Bässen in die Höhen. Alles klar und deutlich artikulliert.
Die zweite Auflage, Real McCoy RMC2, hat als Basis den bekannten Klang des RMC1 und verfügt für eine grössere Flexibilität über drei Potentiometer an der Front, mit denen sich Lautstärke, Sweetspot und Bandbreite des Sweetspots bequem einstellen lassen.
Natürlich ist das RMC2 True-Bypass.
