The Reverend Charger offers a bold new approach to classic tone. The sound is extremely fat and creamy, perfect for thick, mids-heavy distorted tone or crisp clean tone that doesn't get too treble-happy. Responsive and dynamic, this guitar makes it very easy to dial in your own distinct sound. The neck is comfortable, fast, and definitely won't get in the way of your playing, no matter the speed. The body is thick but still lightweight, and it manages to retain a classic look without looking quite like anything else. If you're looking for great tone but you're tired of all the usual designs, check out this Charger. Item Details This Reverend Charger 290, finished in Deep Sea Blue, boasts a list of appointments you'd expect to see on something that came out of a custom shop. The body is made of korina, a medium/lightweight wood that makes for responsive, consistent tone and rich harmonics. The neck has a medium oval shape and maple fretboard. Reverend's pickups are custom-made and wound specifically to match each position, which gives the tone a level of consistency and balance that's hard to come by. This Charger has two of Reverend's CP90's, which are perfect for thick, creamy tone with a vintage edge. The bass-contour control is a great feature - it lets you be more specific about your sound than most electric guitars. Pin-lock tuners and a graphite nut ensure tuning stability and convenience, even after bending the strings as far as you can. The Tune-O-Matic style bridge makes string changes easy. These features make for a well-balanced, responsive guitar that isn't quite like anything else on the market.
