The Kingbolt RA is a unique, dynamic guitar that doesn't try to imitate someone else's design. Tonewise, this guitar puts out intense, heavy tone perfect for any amount of gain you can throw at it. The sound retains a rich, dynamic depth even at high volumes and with tons of distortion. The neck is fast without being non-existent, which makes for an easy ride but will still let you bend to your heart's content. The body is radical yet very comfortable to play standing or sitting, and the lightweight body won't break your back even after hours of playing. Although it's designed with the hard rocker or metal head in mind, the response on this guitar will make players of any style happy. Item Details The Reverend Kingbolt RA, finished in Satin Army Green, is loaded up with unique, quality features. The body is made of korina, a medium/lightweight wood that makes for responsive, consistent tone and rich harmonics. The neck is a fast medium oval shape, and the maple fretboard makes for a fast feel with great string response. Reverend's custom-made pickups are truly unique: half rail, half pole. The result is fat, crunchy lows and singing highs. Pin-lock tuners and a graphite nut ensure tuning stability and convenience, even after abusing the strings with dive bombs courtesy of the Wilkinson Tremolo. The dual-action truss rod eliminates a lot of headaches - it can be easily adjusted in both directions. All of these appointments add up to a bold new guitar design that delivers lots of tone and will keep playing great for years.
