Rozawood Rezophonic Resonator. Previously Roman Zajicek's personal Square neck. Next to being one of the finest luthiers in Europe, Roman is also known for being a fine Dobro player. The Square neck Dobro is still in virtually mint condition except for some crazing to the finish, Features a signature of the late Mike Auldridge on the back.
Rozawood guitars and Resonators being special is a fast understatement, since it's made by Master-luthier Roman Zajicek, to my humble opinion one of the most intriguing Luthiers alive today. His resonator guitars are for instant played by no less then Rob Ickes & Jerry Douglas, and his name slowly begins to settle in into the traditional bluegrass & country scene. And it's deserved, his guitars and resonators are easily among the finest you can find on planet Earth. This Resonator shows his unique craftsmanship and creative mind, and features most impressive details like a stunning birds-eye maple top beyond believe and the back carved of thick slab of solid Brazilian rosewood with matching Sides, Fingerboard and headstock overlay. Other features include an abalone trim, Tortoise binding and Abalone fingerboard- and peghead trim, with matching Tortoise binding, a jokers "custom Ghost" inlay, Engraved Waverly tuners, tear drop/leaf sound-holes, Quarter-man cone and spider bridge.
Rozawood Resonators are of the highest standard and come with a unique design approach, featuring X-bracing system on the top and carved back, The top is joined with the back by one sound-post only enabling remarkably bigger top resonance and making this unique instrument impressive in all fields, The sound is impressive, vibrant, and more powerful, rich and colourful than I have ever encountered in any other square neck. There is simply no match for it and should end up in the hands of a great player. This unique instrument is only made once, a private luthiers project, made on a priceless level and if the effort and woods were paid, it would be way above the 10.000 euro number. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood.
