Sanden Guitars / JRB-C-TT (In Stock) / 2010's / Guitar

The Sanden Guitars JRB is a Jumbo Round Bell style. Supplying a full, rich sound with very deep bottom as well as a clear mid and top. If you are looking for a guitar that provides that powerful sound, the JRB is the natural choice. The waist is moved up giving the top a big area around the bridge to vibrate more.   This JRB-c-tt guitar features a sitka spruce top with beautiful east-indian rosewood back and sides with herringbone bindings with rosewood/maple strips on the body. The neck is mahogany with a ebony True temperament fretboard . With the cutaway you will reach all the way up to the 21st fret. All perfectly intonated. The beautiful rosette is made from herringbone and abalone layered together. The True temperament fretting system on our guitars is an option. Instead of just using the compromise by intonating the saddle, with the TT system the whole fretboard is intonated. This means that the higher up the neck you play the more in tune you will be. We use the Thidell formula 1 fretboard. Sanden guitars has the sole right to use this system on acoustic guitars. For more information about the True temperament system please visit there website at www.truetemperament.com. All Sanden Guitars feature a zero fret for optimal balance and intonation. The machine heads are Schaller chrome with ebony buttons. This JRB also comes with an on-board LR-Baggs Anthem pickup.

The best material is needed to build an instrument that is pleasing to the ear, the eyes and the heart.

Slow growing wood that has been cut and dried properly is a basic requirement. Therefore, we personally choose and purchase the material each year from Germany, the United States, England and India.

Michael has learned this from the two masters he studied with, Bozo Padunavac in San Diego in 1982, where he learned to build steel-string guitars and mandolins, and then with Georg Bolin between 1984-1986, where he learned to build classical guitars.

In 1986 Michael received his Journeyman’s Certificate as a qualified builder and in 1996 he got his Master’s Certificate in guitar craftmanship. Sanden Guitars has been a member of the "Guild of American Luthiers" since 1983 and has participated in several conventions over the years.

Since 2010, Sanden Guitars is situated in Gothenburg Sweden.

Michael and Kari together owns and runs Sanden guitars. Right now Michael is doing all the building and Kari helps out where it is needed. Together they do their utmost to take care of you so that you are going to feel safe with your Sanden guitar.
