Taylor / 612 C / 1999 / Natural / Guitar

1999 Taylor 612 C model with outrageous flame maple back and sides making this a very pleasant guitar to look at and to listen to.

This is the more desirable, for this era Taylor, non electric model. It has had some kind of transducer fitted to it with the usual jack output at the end pin but the one saving grace is it is not fitted with Taylor's obscenely ugly, first version expression system. It has to be said their second version expression system was very good but their first attempt which this one would have been fitted with if it was a 'CE' model left a bit to be desired...

Action is around 4mm at the 12th fret and it sounds very fine indeed, it seems equally well suited for both strumming and for picking work, which is something that cannot be said for a lot of acoustics.

Included is it's original hard shell brown case, often lovingly referred to as the 'thermometer' case.
