Our first snare in the Maple Works Series became a classic satin oil snare. The black stain gives a dark finish but not darker than you can still see the lovely play in the wood. You can only dream about the sound but believe us when we say that it's a rocking drum with lots of body. And with Triple Flanged hoops with 8 holes it's also delightfully easy to tune. Win win!

Tia Drums is run by two drummers who through their many years as professional musicians understand what quality is when it comes to drums. The two owners have besides their musical careers years of experience in restoring and building drum kits. In practice this means that we build precisely the kit you have been dreaming about. By clicking design you can see a selection of the products we offer; you'll find coating for the shells under wraps, different types of shells and various hardware parts under lugs, and hardware. All drums are handcrafted at our own workshop, which means that the delivery of products takes a bit longer than when you go to the shop and buy factory made Taiwan drums. However, the quality you receive is not comparable; we strive to use the best and exclusive parts and this means that in the long run your money is spent wisely. A Tia Drums Custom kit maintains its value. But do not be frightened by these statements. You'll be surprised by the fact that the price level of Tia Drums are more than affordable.
