VC Guitars - Stinger
The Stinger model is VC Guitars’ own interpretation of a classic. Or what does a solid mahogany body capped with a solid carved figured maple top and set mahogany neck tell you? With a combination like that, the Stinger doesn’t pretend to reinvent that classic, but offer an alternative to the ‘Classics’.
The basic version of the Stinger has a lightly flamed maple top, but of course highly flamed or quilted tops are possible as well.
Standard setup is: 2 humbuckers, 1 3-way switch and master volume and tone controls. Need a coil tap function, or single coil P-90 style pickups? No problem, just inquire about the possibilities to create your own classic!

As a kid, I grew up surrounded by guitars. My dad, a lefthand fingerpicker, taught me to play at a young age, and I’ve never looked back since. From the moment I left school, I’ve been working in the music industry, and my passion for the guitar has never stopped growing. Since 2000 I have been making archtop guitars, and more recently I’ve begun making electric guitars as well.
My goal is to make the best instruments I can, without compromises toward sound and playability. These guitars are meant to be played, and not treated as some sort of museum artefact, they need to live!
