1930 Vega Vegaphone Artist Conversion: A nicely made repro 5 string neck has been mated to a 1930 Vega rim to produce this handsome and great sounding banjo. The figured maple neck has a carved heal and is clad with an ebony fingerboard that has been carefully inlaid with engraved mother of pearl. The headstock is also inlaid front an back with the front featuring the famous “man eating fern” design that Vega used only on their highest grade instruments. The original 1930 rim has a 4 piece flange, an original pie section style resonator and all the hardware has been gold plated. With hard case. BuffaloBros.
