Vintage Pedal Workshop / Fuzz Sound MkIII / 2011 / Effect Pedal For Sale
The VPW Fuzz Sound is a MkIII circuit housed in our own design folded steel enclosure. Originally designed as the result of a special request, it features three specially selected AC128 Germanium transistors. Transistor selection is based on low noise and optimised hfe (current gain). Controls are ‘Volume’, ‘Fuzz’ and ‘Tone’. The versatile tone control, specific to the MkIII circuit, allows various tones to be achieved that are not possible with other fuzz pedals.
Construction is on Veroboard, and Carbon Comp resistors are used throughout. Comes complete with a denim gig bag embroidered with the VPW logo.
Hand built in England.

Vintage Pedal Workshop, UK
Hi and welcome to our page for Vintage Pedal Workshop here on VintageandRare. I hope you’ll enjoy seeing our range of hand-built fuzz pedals, pre-amp pedals and valve guitar amplifiers. We have been working very hard to ensure that every product we bring you is of the very best quality available.
Over the coming months I intend to broaden the scope of the website to include interesting information about the construction, restoration and design of various pieces of musical equipment, but possibly concentrating on the AC30 amplifier.
Please check in from time to time, and feel free to contact us with suggestions for improvements to the website and ideas for any future products you’d like to see.

VPW Custom Shop
One advantage of the small workshop ethos is the ability to fulfill special requests for custom pedals and amplifiers. The Rangemaster pictured was custom-built for a collector in the USA. It incorporates many NOS parts, and was relic-ed for an even more authentic look.
We encourage you to contact us if there is a particular item you would like that is not shown on our website.
In addition, we can customise, restore or repair existing pedals – for instance adding an LED status indicator or 9v power socket to your favorite re-issue pedal, or carefully restoring a prized vintage pedal or amplifier to its former glory.
