Burns 4 string Basses For sale
Few guitar companies have been through as many incarnations as Burns guitars. The original company, which bore the Burns name, was created by James Burns in 1960, and it lasted for five years, until the company was bought by Baldwin. James Burns went on to create other guitars under a variety of company names after the Baldwin era.
Burns set out to create guitars that were similar in look and feel to the largest sellers at the time-- Fender guitars. He created guitars that were similar in style to the Stratocasters of the time but had marked differences, the majority of which were minor improvements on the more popular models.
Jimmy Page, Elvis Presley, Billy Bragg and Brian May all played original Burns guitars.
