Hagstrom
Hagstrom 4 string Basses For sale
Swedish instrument-makers Hagström made guitars from 1958-1984. Before and after this period, they made accordions, the influence of which can be seen in the mother-of-pearl finish and pickguard designs of several early Hagström models. Since 2004, the company has been producing guitars again, but none of them have yet been made in Sweden and are quite different from the vintage Hagströms.
Hagström is capable of an incredible range of versatility, making it an incredibly sought-after vintage brand. A flick of the knob is all it takes to turn the thick, crisp twangs into deep, smooth tones, and the neck is long and thin, allowing for fast hand work while playing.
Famous musicians who played Hagströms include Elvis Presley, Frank and Dweezil Zappa, and Jimi Hendrix.
