This is a very rare 1-owner very special ordered example, ordered new Augest 17th, 1984, its got many features made for this bass only, its choice of Walnut for its front & back laminations have a beautiful & colorful striping to its make up, its satin finish feels far better than the heavy clear coats on most of these basses, its neck-thru body is made from a lamination of Maple & Purple Heart & feels perfect, its Series I electronics are what most Alembic buyers desire, what makes this 1-off so special is its body started as Alembic’s standard long scale design with its pointy bottom side but this has a longer left horn designed by its owner to balance this bass unlike all the others that fall off of its strap buttons with that conventional left horn, it also sports a medium scale 34” neck that is fully user friendly unlike all of the long scale 36” basses that are virtually unplayable if you are under 6 ft. tall, we never buy the 36” basses as these medium scale basses impossible to find, it comes with its Power Supply box & all proper cords to complete this package, this has never been on the market since new, it’s the only one exactly like it in existence so grab it if you can, a new version of this Bass would list in excess of $23,000, she is truly near mint, she has its original paperwork & a # of original instruction sheets & comes with its original hard case.
