The Hanika 58 AF Special Production is an exclusive custom-shop classical guitar based on Hanika’s renowned 58 Series. As the 58 AF is no longer part of the regular production line, this instrument was specially commissioned to the specifications of the former owner, featuring a carefully selected Alpine spruce top and a beautifully figured maple body.
The combination of premium solid tonewoods, a domed soundboard with seven-fan bracing, and exceptional craftsmanship delivers a warm, expressive tone with excellent note separation and outstanding responsiveness. Unlike the former production model, this Special Production version features a high-gloss finished top, resulting in a particularly smooth and traditional classical guitar sound.
Premium appointments such as the reinforced cedar neck, ebony fingerboard, and gold-plated tuning machines further emphasize the instrument’s high-end character. The natural high-gloss finish allows the striking beauty of the figured maple back and sides to shine through, creating an elegant and distinctive appearance.

Before processing these valuable tonewoods we keep them in our workshop for years to dry slowly, as it is best for their determination.
