Atkin J 43 Mahogany Spruce Sunburst 2018
Instrument Description:
This Alister Atkin acoustic guitar is based on the famous J45. We estimate that there are few guitars that look and sound so close to genuine vintage guitars. It has a baked Sitka spruce top which gives it the full and vintage sound. The big-bodied slope shoulder shape combined with mahogany back and sides deliver a great balance with warm mids. This vintage inspired model obviously contains the classic features like the Kluson Single Line tuners. The mahogany neck has a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlay. Besides the sunburst finish, the top also boasts a Tiger Stripe pickguard and cream binding. The guitar is in good condition. It does have some traces of playwear on the body and neck and a minor ding on the top. Cosmetically, it still looks very clean. Because the neck angle is a bit low and the fret don't have much meat, a neck reset and refret will be neccessary within a couple of years. The guitar travels in a luxurious case with TFOA passport. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood.
