BSG / D33F Jacaranda German Spruce / Guitar For Sale

BSG guitars are built by Jan Šťovíček in the Czech Republic. Jan and his small team make only a maximum of 200 guitars a year, completely by hand, and quality is paramount in everything. The powerful guitars, with a clear and subtle character, the perfect balance with a powerful deep bass that characterizes all its guitars make you wonder how this quality is possible at this price level. This D33F starts with the traditional dreadnought recipe. However, if you look closely at this guitar you will see that Jan and his team have slightly modified the classic dreadnought. The guitar has a tighter waist and really has its own subtle shape so that you immediately see that it is a BSG. The body consists of Jacaranda, which is a rosewood species that grows in Indonesia and is related to Brazilian rosewood. This can be seen in the color scheme of the wood and the great pattern on the back of the guitar, but especially in the rich and deep sound of the instrument. The case is paired with a German spruce top which is slightly less hard than other types of spruce wood and therefore has a slightly softer response. This goes extremely well with the Jacaranda rosewood. The mahogany neck has an ebony fingerboard that, just like the body, is bound and inlaid with ebony and maple. The playability is just like with all BSG guitars - simply perfect. The D33F is finished by a beautiful ebony head plate and golden Gotoh 510 tuners, but the nicest detail is secretly at the bottom of the head. This is BSG is in excellent condition and has light traces of use including a small ding. Very close to near mint. I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
