Instrument Description:
The GA27CF is a Grand Auditorium guitar with Indian rosewood back and sides combined with a German spruce top. This model has a cutaway and only uses solid tonewoods. These types of wood are complemented by the eye-catching abalone / rosewood rosette and the multi-stripe edge insert and binding of flamed maple which gives this instrument a subdued but beautiful appearance. The sound is full with clear lows, balanced mids and beautiful highs with a lot of definition and complex overtones. To make this guitar even nicer than the already great GA27, we had this custom Fan Fret model built by Jan. A Fan Fret means that she uses two different scale-lengths. On the bass-side she is longer, whilst she is shorter on the treble-side. This means the basses are deeper on the low end, but the playability is better on the high-strings, both compliment the overall balance of the guitar. The frets are slanted to compensate with the two different scale-lengths, this is where the Fan Fret name comes from. At first sight, you might need to get used to it. But the design follows the form of your hands so naturally that if you close your eyes, you won't feel a difference! Sold as B-stock, a polish-able surface-scratch on the back makes its condition near mint. Comes with its original Hiscox hardshell case. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood.
