It is a drive pedal with a bone sound, which is said to be the best in this brand pedal! The minimum DRIVE control allows you to freely create distortions with the pressure of picking, as Pete Townsends played in Leeds live. If you raise the drive knob from there, the tone will be rich and powerful. At about 1/3, it is adjusted to the same gain as the original HIWATT amplifier. If you go beyond that, you can get a rock distortion as if you raised the amplifier volume 11, 20, more than that. True bypass specification.
