The Martin 000 size is a favorite of ours that’s consistently wonderful year after year in all respects. This is a very special ordered 000 made by the Custom Shop & delivered on May 1st, 2017 to The Music Emporium in Lexington Mass. Its a 1 of a kind over the top order w/a scalloped Adirondack Spruce Top w/an Amber Tone finish bound in fine Herringbone. Its stunning wood choice of solid Madagascar Rosewood back & sides are a perfect tone chamber of tone. Its full thickness 1 piece mahogany neck has a Madagascar headplate w/a Paua Pearl block inlaid C.F.Martin logo w/diamond & square inlays in its Black Ebony fingerboard. Its sporting a set of Waverley Nickel & Gold 4060 tuners w/butterbean buttons & a small C.F.Martin engraved 30’s logo on its back. Its OM28 Tortoise’gard & matching 1930’s style black ebony belly bridge completes its build w/an astonishingly high list price of almost $13,000. This was made completely w/Hide Glue & is ready to enjoy for about 1/2 its list price. Its truly near mint & comes w/its 2 build sheets & some candy in its original black hard case.
