Without question, one of the most luxurious American made acoustic guitars is the super fancy Martin D-45. The D-45 flagships what Martin has to offer in “America’s Guitar” from premium wood selection to hand inlaid abalone dressing this guitar to the nines. This was a very special ordered 1994 D-45L in a factory Left Handed version & features forward shifted scalloped X-bracing which means the brace pattern is shifted closer to the neck and provides a greater bass response. This 26 year old Martin D-45L also features a Sitka Spruce top over Indian Rosewood back and sides, full Abalone complement on every edge w/full body binding, rosette, inlays & Martin’s block letter inlaid peghead laminate. Unlike other lower models in this Standard series, the D-45 has a gloss lacquer mahogany neck, as opposed to having a satin finish. From its tortoise’gard to its Schaller tuners, from its abalone hexagon inlays to its beautiful grainy Indian rosewood, it sounds as amazing as it looks w/a unique crispness and body unlike any other dreadnought acoustic. Its completely original w/slight playtime & wear evident. Overall its exceptionally clean & comes w/a bunch of case candy along w/its original unsigned Registration paperwork in its original black molded hard case.
