Good Lord, here is THE benchmark for Dreadnought, and by the company that invented this Dreadnought model. This marvel has slept for more than 7 years with the Swiss distributor … Received in early 2013 at the former Swiss distribution of Martin, this D-45V is not used, but at the price offered, we could believe that this wouldn’t be new… And yes, it’s a brand new one… This instrument is unsold from the Swiss distributions of Martin, and when Martin switched to another distribution in 2020, this superb guitar was offered to us, and it goes without saying that we do not miss a D45. In addition, the V version is to our taste more sober, prettier and delivers, thanks to its advanced bracing, a magnificent tone. The D-45V takes you back to the D-45s of yesteryear, built with superb woods including Indian Rosewood, with gorgeous cuts and veins, straight and regular. The top is superb too, made of Sitka spruce top, and all the instrument has Style 45 threads and elegant inlays on the top and back.
This guitar is new, but has very very light surface marks on the back, almost invisible and obviously imperceptible. No mark on the table, no scratches or anything, and obviously no mark on the frets since it is a new instrument that may have been played a few times at distributors or in demonstration. Comes with original case, documents and goodies.
