Chandler / Red Metro / 1996 / Red / Guitar

Very cool and very rare Made in USA Chandler Metro Baritone model 8522 with an aged white pearloid bound lightweight Alder body, in a eye-popping Red Finish. 1-piece Birdseye Maple Neck and Rosewood Fingerboard. 24 Large Frets measuring 0.116" in width and feel great on this 30" scale length. The Frets themselves are in very good condition and don't seem to show signs of wear whatsoever. 1.705 Nut Width and a very comfortable C shape neck. Adorned with more aged white pearloid on the 3-ply truss rod cover, 3-ply pickguard, and 3-ply back plate cover. A personal favorite, it has the Wilkinson VS-100 Tremolo bridge and 2 chrome dome knobs. 3-way toggle switch with black tip and 1-Master Volume and 1-Master tone with push/pull Bass Contour!! So cool. Weighs a breezy weight of 7.71 Lbs. Overall condition is stellar and with a few linear lines in the finish that follow the wood grain and a little knick on the upper bout where your forearm would rest, no bigger than 0.25" in width. Plays smoothly with a great action and has a lot of versatility with the Strat like single coils and the added bonus of the Bass contour feature.
