Conklin / Faught Custom Sidewinder 7-String Bass / 1997 / Zebrawood Finish / Bass

The boutique Bass market has many great builders today that are very inventive. One builder in particular is Mike Apperson at Conklin Guitars. They reinvented the multi string bass market in the mid-90’s & we have 3 distinctive basses for sale as we speak. This example is a 1997 Custom Sidewinder 7-String Bass made for Chad Fought w/a solid zebrawood body w/2 wenge stripes. The 24-Fret neck is gorgeous wenge and maple w/a purpleheart fingerboard w/wenge bindings. Its fingerboard is Purpleheart that pull this all together w/all of its Gold parts. Its headstock is dated & verified by Conklin to 9/97. Equipped w/a powerful set of custom EMG pickups. This is a full blown Custom Shop Bass made in Springfield, Missouri.  It’s truly near mint & comes in a nice case.
