Duesenberg / Starplayer TV Pearl Top / 2010's / ICE Pearl / Guitar

Second hand in new very very good condition.

The Starplayer TV is a semi hollow, dual pickup, 22 fret electric guitar, featuring arched top and back, bent sides and a 647mm scale.

The distinctive arched spruce top and elegant flamed maple arched back has elevated the TV to one of the finest guitars in the world. Even being such a versatile instrument, it always retains its discreet character and enriches every type or style of music with its distinct Duesenberg sound. It will remind you of the time when Rock & Roll was still young.

For the cutting leads and heavy riffs, they took there own classically wound GrandVintage Humbucker and paired it with there open Domino P90 for airy chords and creamy licks. The middle position of both pickups features a special wiring, which splits certain low end frequencies out of the humbucker signal, resulting in an open and extremely versatile addition to your pallet of sounds.
If you decide for the Starplayer TV+ variation, you get an additional Piezo Pickup which can be blended with the original signal from your magnetic pickups to achieve an even wider range of tone.
The Rebound charity edition sets you up with rhythm focused Duesenberg Little Toaster Pickups.

All Duesenberg instruments are fitted with there own hardware, which you will only find on a Duesenberg. They design it with attention to even the smallest details to create truly unique instruments from tuner buttons to jack plates.

Brief history ( A true one as well )

Shortly after opening, MUG got off to a flying start. The first customer was Jimmy Page, the guitarist of Led Zeppelin. He asked for Ernie Ball electric guitar strings and Bruce answered.

-- The only thing is....eh ..--- " We ordered them a while back, but they haven't arrived yet!"

Luckily enough, Jimmy went away satisfied with his Fender Superbullets or Sound City Strings.

However, as soon as Jimmy had left the shop, Bruce got on the phone to his trade friends in England to find out more about Ernie Ball.

It didn't take long before MUG was the agent for Ernie Ball in Sweden.
This is how Bruce started his "crusade" through Sweden and how MUG got off to a flying start.

The year was 1973. It's now 2015 and Jimmy Page probably won't ever be coming back, but we at MUG see a Jimmy Page in all our customers. This is the way it's always been.

Welcome to our website and our shop as well.
