Epiphone / Crestwood Custom / 1965 / Cherry / Guitar

Now available on consignment, an early 1965 Epiphone Crestwood Custom in a stunning aged cherry refinish! This model was the equivalent to the SG in the epiphone lineup, being built in the same factory with the same materials as the Gibsons were.

This particular example has a serial number dating it to 1965, still retaining the 1 & 5/8ths" nut width and nickel plating on the hardware.

Work to the guitar includes:

- Professional refret with plenty of life was performed sometime ago.

- Bridge replaced with Gibson VOS ABR-1, added strap button to horn.

- Aged professional refinish performed in cherry nitrocellolose, neck and body in great condition with minimal sanding.

Otherwise this guitar retains pretty much all of it's original parts and has NO breaks or repairs to the heel/headstock. All 4x CTS pots date to the 11th week of '65 and both original patent # mini humbucking pickups havent been opened.

Lightweight at just under 2.6kg

Includes an older non-original hardcase, original tremolo arm in case.
