Here is an instrument that we brought in in 2011 and sold almost immediately, and which returns, almost in the same condition, a year after the master’s death on October 6, 2020.
Van Halen’s collaboration with Music Man has lasted 5 years, from 1990 to September 1995, and this series, the first “real” Signature Van Halen, clearly amazed one or two generations of guitarists, both the design and the manufacture were original. Small, lightweight and ergonomic body, Floyd vibrato system with original D Tuna recently installed, small headstock, but super comfortable and round neck, in hard rock maple birseye. Super simple electronic configuration, a 3 position switch, volume, and basta. In short, these Music Man laid the groundwork for the other Signatures series that Van Halen then marketed, with Peavey, and later with his brand EVH.
This 1995 guitar is in excellent condition, with tiny playwear here and there, like small surface scratches, and only two very small impressions in the finish under the D-Tuna, obviously when this one, when changing strings, touched the top and pressed the finish. No dents, no visible bare wood, frets in excellent condition, neck without nicks or anything, in short, really an excellent condition, almost immaculate.
Comes with its original hardcase.
