Fender Custom / NAMM Masterbuilt Vincent Van Trigt Bigsby Tele Heavy Relic / Guitar

The Custom Shop is home to Fender’s most skilled and talented builders. It’s a bustling, noisy and creatively volcanic place that re-earns its nickname—the Dream Factory—every day. Custom Shop builders are completely dedicated to their art—part craftsman, part artist, part music fan and, more often than not, part mad scientist. They’re the best at what they do, and they pour all of their passion, hard-earned knowledge and skill into every instrument they build. It’s no ordinary place, and the creations that come from it are no ordinary instruments. Take for example this NAMM Masterbuilt Bigsby Telecaster, masterbuilt by Vincent van Trigt. Originally from the Netherlands, Vincent moved to California in 2005 and began working for Fender immediately. After wearing a variety of hats in different departments, he started in the Custom Shop in 2012. A 2-year assistant role with Stephen Stern at the Gretsch Custom Shop was followed by a 5-year apprenticeship with John Cruz. During this time, Vincent worked on many prestigious guitars, including the replica of Gary Moore’s ’61 Stratocaster, a 30-piece run of the Jimmie and Stevie Ray Vaughan 30th anniversary Stratocaster guitars, and most recently the Phil Lynott Precision Bass. A musician himself, Vincent has always been a Fender fan. “There’s a certain feel and sound and look that is specific to Fender instruments, and that’s the reason people love them so much. To me that’s exciting, and to be part of a legacy like that is a dream come true.” This Telecaster has been meticulously relliced to simulate a level of use and abuse the way only the Custom Shop can, hardly distinguishable from a true vintage instrument. But beneath that aged finish lies a reliable, perfectly setup instrument with great specifications to ensure the comfortable and problem-free playing experience a modern player demands. Features include aged gold hardware, a 2-piece Ash body which holds a J style bridge, Bigsby B-5 tailpiece, a single-ply 51 Nocaster pickguard, a Handwound Broadcaster pickup made by Josefina in the bridge position, a Novak P90 in the bridge, quartersawn '57 Soft V-shape maple neck with a 9.5 radius fretboard and 42mm (1 5/8) nutwidth. Like every Custom Shop instrument this guitar comes with a Custom Shop hardshell case, case candy and certificate of authenticity. ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
