An absolutely stunning ’62 Relic in the thin skin nitro-cellulose and wonderful Candy Tangerine, a colour used to replicate the off red shade that the vintage Red Strats get over time.. This guitar was made for NAMM 2007 as a limited edition run to show off Custom Shops capabilities.. The “Relic” is uniquely just with the hardware and not the finish on the body or neck. There are some signs of relicing on the body but the finish is barely touched. It is believed that the Custom Shop was very happy with how the grain of the premium light-weight Ash body showed on this particular guitar and the finish wasn’t as distressed as others that are out there.. Hand selected by CS dealer GAK, this guitar is a one-off.
The Custom Shop 1969 single coils are initialled AY for Abigail Ybarra, the initials denoting that these pickups were made under her supervision. They sound fantastic as expected!
The guitar comes complete with all case candy and COA and has just been serviced and setup with 10’s.

The guitars all go through the 12th Fret workshop for servicing and setting up prior to being listed on the website and our Reverb Shop and can be adjusted to suit your setup requirements before shipping. All the guitars are very well packed and shipped within a day of purchase. All guitars are available to view & demo at the showroom based in East Sussex. We are able to offer part exchange on most items for sale.
