Fender Custom / Fender Todd Krause Masterbuilt 50s Control Plate Stratocaster Heavy Relic Copper / Guitar

What a guitar this is! Calling Todd Krause the “Builder to the Stars” would be a vast understatement. He builds and maintains guitars for Fender signature artists Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Stu Hamm and Roscoe Beck. Further, he has built custom instruments for Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Bob Dylan, Roger Waters and Gene Simmons, to name only a few. Is there an equal to the magic Todd Krause seems to be able to put into each and every guitar? Not sure. Springing forth from the Fender Custom Shop, the Todd Krause Builder Select ‘50s Control Plate Strat features a vintage-style aluminum plate between the single-ply black phenolic pickguard and pots/switch for authentic, original-era Strat tone. Besides reducing 60-cycle hum, this plate also “rounds off” the upper harmonics of the hand wound Fender Custom Shop pickups, generating warm, expressive tone that’s full of soul. Modern touches include a 9.5” fingerboard radius, shielded body cavity for even more hum reduction and a five-way pickup switch to unlock all the tonal variations inhabiting a Strat. Vintage-style wiring and hardware—including tuning machines and a synchronized tremolo with “PAT-PEND” saddles—along with the comfortable 10/56 “V”-shaped neck profile all add up to the classically comfortable playing experience you can only get from a Fender. Includes a tweed hardshell case and Certificate of Authenticity. BTW this particular guitar is featured on the Fender website. ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
