Fender Custom / Shop LTD Relic 50s Telecaster Thinline Pink Paisley / 2017 / Guitar

A Thinline Telecaster from the 50's and in Pink Paisley, well that isn't correct, right? No, in the 50's there were no thinline telecasters and no pink paisley finish to be found. But it's fun to imagine they were, right? Well, that's what these Fender Custom Shop instrument are about, namely the 'What If' run. This concept gives the builders a lot of room to come up with instruments that are out of the box and give the players new experiences and options to choose from. And if this Pink Paisley Thinline Telecaster is just the beginning of it, than we only get more excited about what's about to come. This in paisley covered beauty consists of a 1951 'Nocaster' style ash body with the 1969 style thinline semi-hollow cavity. The pickguard is a single-ply parchment guard that Fender introduced in 1956 and blends in really well with the pink color. The neck has a comfortable soft V-shape that was used in 1957 in tele's and strats. This blend of Fender Telecaster specs gives the player a great looking and a wonderful playing guitar partially due to the V-neck. The sound department is taken care of by a more modern Texas Special pickup with more punch and clarity than a vintage pickup and a good ol' Broadcaster pickup in the bridge which gives a certain clear and balanced sound and has a kind of roundness that really distinguishes this pickup from the masses. A Greasebucket tone circuit helps with a tone control circuit that not only rolls of treble frequencie (that gives you a more bassy tone) but also rolls of bass, which leaves the midfrequencies and makes your tone less muddy. It can also act to shape overdrive tones which really heavily on the mid frequencies. The tone of this telecaster is not completely like a blackguard or a thinline for that matter, it's a whole other option within the Telecaster landscape and one that might surprise you. ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
