Not bound to any particular year or design era, reverently irreverent Custom Shop Postmodern guitars represent six decades of “Fender firsts” based simply on our own subjective view of what works best in a single instrument. Player friendly with enhanced sonic and ergonomic features, the Postmoderns open the door to an even wider range of individual musical expression and creativity. This Stratocaster begins with a '56 alder Strat body with '57 style deep body contours. The body is finished in an aged black finish with Journeyman relic, which gives the impression that this instrument has been used properly, but carefully. The tortoise pickguard creates a pretty contrast with the uniform black finish and carries a Shawbucker in the bridge position, accompanied by two Fat 50 pickups in the neck and middle position respectively. The quartersawn AA grade flamed maple neck features a round laminate AAA grade rosewood with a fantastic pattern and a compound radius ranging from 9,5 until 12 inch. The fretboard is bound with parchement binding and finished by white dot markers. This Post Modern Stratocaster HSS is in mint condition. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood.
