The Black over Vintage Blonde finish is the showstopper here. As the black nitro wears through to the blonde underneath, you get this stunning two-tone reveal across the body — buckle rash, checking, forearm wear — all of it hand-applied by Perry himself to look like decades of honest gigging. It's equal parts art object and working instrument.

WHO IS LEVI PERRY?

Levi Perry is the real deal — and one of the freshest, most talked-about names to come out of the Fender Custom Shop in years.

He started at Fender straight out of high school in Riverside, California in 2012, working the production floor from the ground up. By 2015 he'd earned his way into the Custom Shop as a Relic artisan and tone tester — the person responsible for making sure the aging is right and the guitar sings. From there he moved into service repair, learning the inner life of vintage instruments from the inside out.

In 2018 he was promoted to Masterbuilder Apprentice, where he served as a rare "floater" — working one-on-one with every Masterbuilder in the shop, absorbing techniques, philosophy, and craftsmanship from the entire spectrum of the Custom Shop's elite. During that period he put his hands on some of the most prestigious builds Fender has ever produced: the Game of Thrones collector series, the Limited Edition Phil Lynott Precision Bass, the iconic George Harrison Rocky Strat replica, and the El Mocambo Heavy Relic Strat and Tele collection.

He's now a full Masterbuilder — and the guitars he's producing are already turning heads worldwide. "For me what's important is to always be learning and growing, and to remain a student of the craft," Perry has said. That humility is exactly what makes his instruments feel alive.
