Fender / Jaguar / 1965 / Lake Placid Blue / Guitar

Just in!

An early 1965 Fender Jaguar that has been lovingly restored and refinished in aged Lake Placid Blue by its current owner.

Work to the guitar includes:

- The pickups have been replaced with a rewound '63 in the bridge (7.2k oohms), and an original '67 Jaguar pickup in the neck position (6.8k). There are no body routes, and the original sunburst finish is in the cavities.

- The pickguard is a modern replacement, and most of the wiring is vintage correct pushback wire.

- The guitar has been refretted some time ago, there is extensive wear to the board and divoting in the rosewood as pictured. This does not affect playability whatsoever and feels fantastic in hand.

Otherwise this guitar retains all of its original hardware minus the pickguard/some control plate screws. The bridge saddles are also replacements. The original rhythm circuit and lower control loom remain, with both stackpole pots dating to the 8th week of 1965.

A fantastic playing and sounding Fender Jaguar that has been played extensively for a reason!

Weighs just under 3.7kg

Includes a non original 70s case with a reissue tremolo arm.
