Instrument Description:

Pre CBS L-series Jazz bass

Very resonant - only weighs aprox 3800 grams

Fantastic instrument, used on many albums, tv shows and videos

Straight neck, trussrod working great, great sound from pickups

Pots date 1963 (304-6350)

Neck date 1964 (7FEB64A)

All original ( neck, body, electronics, pickups, hardware), apart from a refret ( done 2-3 years ago), a new nut and replacement of the rubberfoam under the pickups.

Finish worn and cracked naturally, a minor grove in the wood where the player's thumb nail have digged in. Volume/tone knobs control plate slightly bent, a minor fix i havent done.

Comes with original hardcase, one of the rare white cases only made between 1963 and 1964 - I dont have a photo of my case yet, but ive uploaded a identical case from the internet.

No Ashtray, pickup cover or thumbrest
