1967 Fender Jazz Bass, candy apple red. Made in USA, serial number 172443. This bass is 100% original, except for a recent pro refret with a new nut. The chrome covers and screws are later replacements.
It has three very old touchups on the body and shows a good amount of wear overall, though it's structurally perfect. Nicely faded color.
This bass represents one of the earliest to feature a TV logo, in fact the neck has a 'sales' stamp and 'sales' and 'car' (for candy apple red) inscription, meaning that it was used to show the new style around. December '66 neck date, '66 pot dates and January '67 pickup dates. Comes with the original black tolex hardshell case. An insanely fine bass in every aspect. Weighs 4kg.
