Fender Mustang (1968) – Competition Blue
Offered as an original late-1968 example from Fender, this Mustang in Competition Blue represents an early version of the model’s custom colour finishes.
Based on serial number 232464, it dates to 1968 and features a slab fingerboard neck consistent with mid-1960s specifications, suggesting an early production period for the Competition finish.
Described as all original with untouched soldering, it is presented in very good condition, with a well-preserved finish and strong fret life. The instrument has been set up with Elixir 10-gauge strings and is reported to play well.
Supplied with its original Fender hard case, this is a clean and well-maintained vintage Mustang, offering both collectibility and player appeal.
