1969 Fender Mustang Competition — same year, same model, same Burgundy finish that Kurt Cobain famously played.
Neck stamped 16 JUL 69B. Original Competition tremolo and CTS pots. Aftermarket neck pickup — otherwise original. Comes in the original case.
The Burgundy has naturally faded over five decades into the blue-green hue you see today — a hallmark of this finish. It also shows one of the most beautiful examples of finish checking we’ve seen in a long time.
