Black Magic Vintage is pleased to offer a stunning and absolutely true 1951 Fender Nocaster!
With a neck date of 2/7/51 "TG", this is one of, if not the earliest dated Nocaster that has been found. This survivor has an incredible and honest vibe and is 100% factory perfect, less a re-fret at some point in its history. Not a bad thing...
This guitar has perfect balance, is loud acoustically, and is sonically incredible! It weighs 7 lbs 7oz. The neck is perfectly played in with all the vibe you hope to find in a "Tele", it measures .85 @ 1st and 1.01 @ 12th fret with a soft V.
The pickups maintain their original windings and are well balanced, 5.25 N and 6.88 in the B. They offer all the sparkle, shimmer, and honk synonymous with these early black guards.
The solders all appear untouched, and the original mud cap/circuit remains intact. It is accompanied by its original case, ashtray, and cable. An incredible package overall and a great guitar without question.
