Features all ’58 specs: 3-tone sunburst finish, D-shaped neck, and the 8-screw single-ply white pickguard. Neck pencil dated 11-58, body 10/58, pots dated 28th week of ’58.
The guitar is 100% original, no issues. Beautiful 3-tone sunburst finish, all original, no touchup, oversrpray, nothing.Trussrod adjusts beautifully and allows super low action if desired. The trussrod plug has slightly protuded about 1mm. Not an issue at all, but just for the sake of proper description (see photo). As mentioned, trussrod works very well and the whole guitar adjusts great.
Very powerful and bell-chimey pickups, quite characteristic of its era. Original 3-way switch and solder joints. Includes original tweed case, original ashtray cover and leather strap (!!). I don’t think other than strings has ever been changed to this guitar.
