Fender / Stratocaster / 1962 / Dakota Red / Guitar For Sale

1962 Fender Stratocaster in Dakota Red and absolutly "Mint-like Condition"

The story that goes with this.... is as amazing as the guitar itself.

This Stratocasterhas an 100% original Body with the most well-kept neck and frets we ever seen on a vintage guitar. Turning screws, brigde and nur are original too but the pickup trio ann pickguard with electronics has been changed to a set of 1964 black bottom pickups. The 3 way switch was changed to a 5-way but the plastics are all originals.

The pickup output:

Brigde 5,85

Middel 5,80

Neck 5,79

Good and powerful of 61 years old pickups.

The sound is warm, brigde and crispy with lots of sustain. The whole body vibarates of tone and it is a "pure joy" for all vintage sound lovers. There has been carded under the pickguard for a switch of a kind as we see in lots of old stratocasters.

The neck is straight and a wonderful slim C-shape neck, fast and easy to play. The condition of the back of the neck, the rosewood fingerboard and frets are unreel. Clearly the guitar has not been playd much over the years.

The story as we know it...

This is a "one owner" guitar band was purchased just before cristmas in 1964 i a music store. The owner was in a local well-known Rock'n Roll band that only existed a few years and after the breackup, he kind of losts interrest in playing the guitar and the Dakota Red Stratocaster was toked away... until now...

That explains why the condition is a 9 out of 10 ect.

Comes wit non original hardcase
