Ca. 1987 Fender Stratocaster '54 Reissue, sunburst. Made in Japan, serial number E943806. This guitar is 100% original and just came out of a huge collection, it's in NOS condition (fresh strings mounted) and comes with the original Fender gigbag and hang tag. This is a special order made guitar from the Fender Japan custom shop, probably a one off because it's the fanciest and best Fender Japan instrument we've ever seen. Yes, the body is all solid quilt, this is not a veneer, not the Foto Flame, not a quilt top. It has a nitro finish (shows just a few signs of being stored in the gigbag for a long time - no idea why such an amazing guitar wouldn't be deemed a proper hardshell case) and sports factory mounted Fender USA Vintage Reissue series hardware (bridge, pickguard, electronics dated from 1987) and pickups. The gorgeously flamed (pops out more in person) maple neck has a soft V-shaped and slender profile. The tremolo arm is a replacement. Weighs 3.85kg.
